Origin Story
The idea for Immersive Mix Guide began in 2024, when I was a student trying to learn Atmos mixing and quickly discovered how difficult it was to access meaningful information. Resources were either too shallow, too narrow, or hidden behind paywalls — and it felt as if the knowledge was reserved for a select few.
That frustration became motivation. If I struggled to learn, others would too. So I decided to build the resource I wished I had: a comprehensive, open‑access compendium of Atmos knowledge that anyone could use. I began developing the site in 2025, and it went live in 2026 with a clear purpose — to make immersive audio education accessible, reliable, and genuinely helpful.
